7 Authors I Could Read Over and Over Again (And I Think You Might Enjoy, Too)
“All good books are alike in that they are truer than if they had really happened and after you are finished reading one you will feel that all that happened to you and afterwards it all belongs to you; the good and the bad, the ecstacy, the remorse and sorrow, the people and the places, and how the weather was.” – Ernest Hemingway
1. Stephanie Myers
She creates a fantasy world that seems so real to the reader that it is perfectly normal for humans to love vampires and befriend werewolves, leaving you loving the monsters, too. 2. J.K. Rowling The world of Harry Potter becomes the reader’s reality. You will find yourself so absorbed in the magic that you just may catch yourself whispering “Accio” when you misplace something or wishing Hermoine was there to help you out in a sticky situation. 3. Charlotte Bronte I just love historical fiction that includes a mystery and romance like Jane Eyre. 4. Beverly Lewis I admire the faith and morals of her Amish characters. I don’t think I would mind living such a peaceful life as the characters in her books, but I would miss my car and access to internet. 5. Nicholas Sparks I like how his writings are contemporary, but not too raunchy. They always include a love story and a twist at the end that leaves you breathless, in tears, or both. 6. Wanda E. Brunstetter Just as you saw in #4, I love a good Amish romance and Ms. Brunstetter never fails. 7. Debbie Macomber Her romantic comedies are a breath of fresh air. They are an easy read and have characters you can relate to, but the plot has enough depth to keep you engaged and coming back for more of her writings.
Now I’m curious. Who’s your favorite author and why?
