Award Winning Italian Chicken

This chicken and pasta recipe has a easy, yet divine tasting sour cream sauce that your whole family will love.

Ingredients

  • 2-3 tablespoons Canola Oil
  • 4 boneless, skinless Chicken Breasts (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Onion (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup Green Pepper (chopped)
  • 1 cup Sour Cream or Plain Yogurt (low fat)
  • 1 heaped teaspoon Basil
  • 1 heaped teaspoon Oregano
  • 1-2 Small Tomatoes (chopped)
  • dash Pepper
  • dash Salt

Directions

Step 1 Heat oil in skillet and add chicken.
Step 2 Cook until golden and chicken is done all the way through.
Step 3 Add onions and green pepper to chicken in the skillet. Cook approximately 5 minutes more.
Step 4 Add remaining ingredients, which makes a sauce, and stir well. Cook 2-3 minutes more.
Step 5 Pour over pasta or rice and enjoy!
