Homemade Butterfinger Ice Cream

Serves 1 gallon

Total time 1 hours, 15 minutes
This ice cream recipe is a delicious way to celebrate birthdays or just enjoy a summer night.

Ingredients

  • 4 Eggs
  • 2 1/2 cups Sugar
  • 2 quarts Half and Half
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons Vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 4-6 Butterfinger, or other chocolate, candy bars (finely crushed)

Directions

Step 1 Beat eggs together.
Step 2 Add sugar gradually, beating until thick.
Step 3 Add remaining ingredients and mix well.
Step 4 Freeze in ice-cream freezer/maker until it reaches desired consistency.

Note

You don't have to make it Butterfinger flavor. You can add your favorite candy bar and it tastes just as good.
