Harry Potter Back-to-School Fun
Well, it’s that time of year again. Time to think about packing those trunks, boarding the Hogwarts Express, and heading off for school. If your kiddos enjoy Harry Potter as much as ours do, they are sure to want these to pack in their trunks for back-to-school. So easy to make, and they will surely make school work much more fun. All you need are composition notebooks, glue sticks, scissors or exacto knife and mat for cutting, paper or cardstock for printing, and the templates for the notebook covers that you can find at Polkadot Chair. Melissa at Polkadot chair has lovely pictorial instructions for making these fun notebooks. As per usual, I didn’t do what I was told and used paper for printing and scissors for cutting. They still turned out pretty well, (not that you can tell that from my poor photography, but trust me, these are super cute) but if I was going to send them to school with a child, I think the cardstock would hold up better. It would probably be easier to work with, too. And, if you use cardstock, you will want to use an exacto knife for trimming the edges. Either way, these are super easy and sure to be a hit with the back-to-school crowd.
